CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of the first 29 amino acids of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), modified with four substitutions for protease resistance and conjugated to a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) that binds serum albumin to extend its half-life. It is studied in preclinical, in-vitro models for GHRH-receptor binding and the downstream cAMP/PKA cascade in pituitary somatotroph research.
